In the heart of Schackenborg Castles lush and enchanting garden lies Herskabsstalden – the Manor Stable. Through careful and respectful restoration, we have preserved the history of the building and created a space with a calm and welcoming atmosphere.
Schackenborg Castle and Castle Inn are the nearest neighbours, and the surroundings are at once intimate, fascinating and grand.
Herskabsstalden is open seasonally, but we are happy to open our doors for private parties, events or meetings throughout the year.
Here, the surroundings become just as significant as what takes place within them.
A summer gem in the castle garden
The garden of Schackenborg Castle is at its most magical in summer. Nestled among all that greenery, Herskabsstalden is beautifully situated.
The restaurant has been furnished with great respect for the origins and spirit of the building. The interiors are bright, elegant and welcoming. On the first floor, two modernly appointed meeting rooms are available, well suited to smaller meetings, workshops and seminars that call for calm and focus.
Herskabsstalden also provides a beautiful and atmospheric setting for private occasions such as weddings, confirmations and birthdays. We are equally well equipped for corporate events.
We ensure that everything comes together seamlessly, with professional service and high-quality food based on seasonal, local ingredients – while giving you the space to enjoy the conversations and the company.
Outside the season, we direct guests to our welcoming Castle Inn.
