Rooms and Suites

Our luxurious suites are found at the end of Slotsgade in historic buildings with Møgeltønder Church as a neighbour. Here you stay approximately 350 metres from the Castle Inn in newly renovated surroundings, where South Jutland country style, modern conveniences, a sense of nostalgia and understated luxury come together in perfect harmony.

Each suite is furnished with at least one bedroom, a large bathroom with either a shower or bathtub, and a cosy sitting room – perfect for intimate moments, a good glass of wine or relaxing with an engaging novel. Selected suites offer the option of an extra bed on a sofa bed.

The King Suite and Queen Suite are located on the first floor, accessible via stairs. Both suites feature two bedrooms and plenty of space to enjoy life to the full.

As a guest in the suites, you have access to a shared courtyard garden, sauna and free parking with an electric vehicle charging point.

All our suites also include a TV and a complimentary minibar on your day of arrival.

Our luxury double rooms are furnished to harmonise with the historic setting, without any compromise on comfort.
Bathrooms have either a shower or bathtub, and opening the window invites the sounds and scents of nature inside. There is comfortable seating with either a small sofa or two chairs, where you can enjoy a quiet moment before or after dinner.

All our rooms have been carefully restored and tastefully furnished in a style that suits the historic setting. 

Standard double room

Our standard double rooms are furnished in the same refined, historic spirit as the rest of Schackenborg Castle Inn. Here you will find comfortable surroundings, a bathroom with shower or bathtub and an atmosphere that invites calm and rest.
It is an ideal choice for those who seek quality, presence and understated elegance.

Single room

Simple, cosy and comfortable.
At Schackenborg Castle Inn, we have a small number of single rooms with 120 cm beds. The rooms are compact but still inviting and ideal when what you need most is a good night's sleep in peaceful surroundings, spending your waking hours enjoying everything the area has to offer.
