About the stay

When you arrive at the inn, we welcome you with freshly brewed coffee and homemade cake.

The highlight of the evening is a sensory five-course gastronomic menu, selected by our Head Chef from our new seasonal menu, inspired by the Wadden Sea and the marshlands.

Your overnight stay takes place in our newly renovated double rooms, thoughtfully designed to offer the utmost comfort and relaxation.

The experience concludes with a breakfast buffet featuring traditional South Jutland specialities.

If you have received a gift card for Schackenborg Slotskro, this can be used for full or partial payment for your stay or purchases in the Slotskroen restaurant or the pop-up restaurant in Slotshaven Herskabsstalden. Please state your gift card when ordering to reception or the waiter of the day.

The reservation can be canceled free of charge up to 48 hours before arrival. If there are less than 48 hours to arrival, a fee corresponding to the first night's accommodation price will be charged. Any additional nights will be canceled without charge. If you have booked 5 rooms or more, the cancellation deadline is 7 days before arrival, unless otherwise agreed.

At Schackenborg we offer gastronomic experiences at our two restaurants:

Slotskroen's restaurant offers delicious lunches, afternoon coffee and homemade cakes, as well as an exciting á la carte Brasserie menu. Furthermore, our 5-7 gourmet servings can be enjoyed here from Thursday to Saturday.

Herskabstalden are located in the beautiful Castle Gardens and are open seasonally. The Manor Stables can be booked for events all year round.
