Enjoy a gourmet stay with 5–7 carefully selected courses curated by the head chef.
On selected days, you have the option to add a guided tour of the castle.
Arrive on a Thursday up to and including 29 October 2026 and enjoy a complimentary upgrade to one of our suites.

The stay can be booked up to and including 28 November. From December onwards, it is possible to book a Christmas stay with a gourmet dinner at Schackenborg Castle.

About the stay

On arrival, we welcome you with freshly brewed coffee and home baking at the Castle Inn.

The highlight of the evening is a gourmet dinner with five or seven courses, inspired by the season, the Wadden Sea and the surrounding marshland.

You will stay in our newly renovated double rooms, furnished with a focus on comfort and relaxation.

The stay concludes with a wonderful breakfast buffet with South Jutland specialities.

If you have received a gift card for Schackenborg Slotskro, this can be used for full or partial payment for your stay or purchases in the Slotskroen restaurant or the pop-up restaurant in Slotshaven Herskabsstalden. Please state your gift card when ordering to reception or the waiter of the day.

The reservation can be canceled free of charge up to 48 hours before arrival. If there are less than 48 hours to arrival, a fee corresponding to the first night's accommodation price will be charged. Any additional nights will be canceled without charge. If you have booked 5 rooms or more, the cancellation deadline is 7 days before arrival, unless otherwise agreed.

At Schackenborg we offer gastronomic experiences at our two restaurants:

Slotskroen's restaurant offers delicious lunches, afternoon coffee and homemade cakes, as well as an exciting á la carte Brasserie menu. Furthermore, our 5-7 gourmet servings can be enjoyed here from Thursday to Saturday.

Herskabstalden are located in the beautiful Castle Gardens and are open seasonally. The Manor Stables can be booked for events all year round.
